DaNCing aT DisCO’s. EAtiNg chEesE oN tOAsT.

I’m so glad summer’s almost here. I really need a break from Clark. I mean I’ll still be there working, but it’s different. It’s not Clark itself I need a break from, it’s the classes and the influences I need away from. I don’t like that I’ve become desensitized to certain things. So I think summer will be a good time for refocusing and everything.

So I’m extremely excited for mannings! Only one more year and I can enroll! I cant wait till I’m a licensed cosmetologist!!!! I’m especially looking forward to learning different cuts, like for those emo guys with the bomb fo hawks, or dramatic styles like wedges and such for girls. And I’m excited to get my hands and scissors in certain peoples hair! Lol but here’s the dilemma. So, well, I think life is good. Mostly has ups. But here’s a down concerning this. Very few people are supportive when I say I want to be a cosmetologist. I don’t know why but these are the reactions I get; “you will get you’re AA first right? Incase you decide to get a career.” “Why waste your brain?” “That will earn you a living?” “Seems shallow to me, but at least it’s a form of art I guess.” Seriously, those are the reactions I get. And it does bother me a bit I must admit. =/ Like why is it brainless and shallow? And well, it’s kind of my talent so hearing it’s those things is a bit hurtful. Also, no one every asks why I want to go into cosmetology, do they ever think maybe I have a good reason? So here it is. I’m gonna tell you all right now why I want this to be my career because very few people have cared to know I guess.
A.) it’s something I enjoy and WANT to do.
B.) my main priority is that I want a family, and this job is perfect for that. I can be a stay at home mom, and work from my house to help support them too.
C.) I hope to volunteer at crisis pregnancy center to give the new mommy’s free beauty treatments. So that I can bless them in some small way.
B.) so that I can eventually start my own Christian reach out beauty business, targeted for mothers and their kids. So that they can come get a little special time for themselves. And they can bring the kids, knowing they can go to a child care class and learn about Jesus while mommy gets a break.
So those are my main reason for perusing this career. And I don’t think it’s shallow.

So anyways… New topic. Different songs and bands always remind me of certain people… whether it’s the lyrics bring a person to mind, or there is a special memory to it. Like, cocoamo by the beach boys will forever be sarah‘s. And sexy back - Justin timberlake - well it’s jake’s lol. Wanna know what song you are to me? Just ask! Cuz u probably have one, or a whole band - like Austin has the killers lol.

I know it’s classified as corny, but twilight is my literary crack. Haha especially breaking dawn, I read it twice over one weekend, and have read it tons of times lol. And I love the movie too. And it bothers me when people criticize it and say how dumb it is when they’ve never seen it! I mean, I dislike some things that I haven’t seen, but that’s because they’re horror films or something, and I never like them. But I’m not gonna argue with you on whether they’re good or not. I mean if you like them, then yay you, I wont diss that. So yeah I LOVE twilight, deal with it. (Personally I think most guys hate it just because they know Edward could get more ladies then they could. Some sort of pride thing.)

So today my random thought is the following;
Waiting on love isn’t so easy. But I believe it’s worth it. And for some reason I’ve set myself up for disappointment. Those are the thoughts figure them out if you can, continue living if you can’t.
